I'm going to the weeklong NPS SAR training when I first get to Canyonlands! Pete is going to be there as well from Zion so it'll be an awesome week on the rock.
That sounds awesome! I wish I could take a class in SAR. I wonder what the most common problems are out there. That's cool that your friend Pete will be joining you.
