Grand Canyon Backpack
You know, I really don't know how to explain this trip. My dad would probably say it was unwise considering Catherine is riding on the edge of financial security (and I'm probably driving that band-wagon) but after working with that silly but necessary green paper all day long and seeing what people usually waste it on; I'd have to say this trip was totally worth it. Catherine is pretty much the coolest person ever. HERE'S WHY:

Neat trip. Looks like you two had lots of fun together!
But after looking closely at the pictures I'm wondering...Do you and Catherine have the same shirt or did you (more likely) trade shirts somewhere along the way? I think the second option sounds like more fun.
That makes me want to go backpacking with my sister! How fun.
oh snap. wish i could have gone. buuut you know. work calls. i think i was in robbers roost. sweet pics though!! that trip looks SO worth it. and not that expensive, right?

Your dad's comment about living on the edge of financial insecurity must just be a symptom of his jealosy that you both had such a great time without him! Thanks for posting the wonderful photos.
