Brian just called Liesel the mayor of Cuteville.

The governor of Cute.
First place winner at the cute fair.
Labeled with a sticker that says cute.
If you were a ticket on the airplane it would be cuteclass.
In the city paved with cute.
If you were a country in the former Soviet Union you'd be Cuteastan.
I draw the line with that one.

Frank (Brian's dad) came to visit us this week. He lives in Hawaii and is about to take a job north of the Arctic Circle (no roads to it or from it-- yikes) so it was nice to get to see him. We spent our days in National Parks (shocker) hiking around. We hiked Courthouse Wash in Arches and witnessed serious beaver destruction, ice highways and sunshine.
Brian, Liesel and Frank sliding on the ice. Wish we had brought skates!

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
Liesel just loves hiking.
The next day we went down to the Needles district in Canyonlands for another hike. We went to Chesler Park and dug it.

I love it when you post photos! (Although seeing Brian on the ice with Liesel makes me nervous. I know he's sure-footed like a mountain goat and all, but yikes!)

You drew the line in the right place- it's not getting any better than Cutestan. Hilarious!

Isn't it fun to have a little sidekick? Their are so chill about accompanying you on your adventures, as long as you feed them. Liesel's fleece outfit is almost as cute as she is. Did you make that, Angela?

Amazing ice highway. Very cute photo of Liesel in front pack with sideview of Daddy. Beautiful country.
